Who we are!
Since 2008 Thirsty Cow has enabled farmers to help other farmers during natural disasters. This is common on a local level and done for the most part on a totally voluntary and confidential basis and without any fanfare as no farmer should be perceived as a charity case.
Thirsty Cow has now been re-established as a not-for-profit in Australia for the main purpose of providing relief to farmers, graziers and their families suffering financial or other distress arising from the effects of natural disasters.
Over recent years, Thirsty Cows Founder Greg Douglas and his extended band of volunteers, have been kept extremely busy answering calls for help across a wide range of sometimes life saving and always urgent situations involving rural life and the problems it presents to farmers and graziers.
